UGC NET Exam 2019 to be held in June - NTA changes exam pattern

UGC NET Exam 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the UGC NET exam 2019 date today. The exam will be held in June 2019. The NTA has this year brought in some changes in the exam pattern. Unlike earlier, there will be no break between paper I and paper II in the UGC NET June 2019 exam. The UGC NET exam will be conducted in a single three-hour session.
In the previous session in December 2018, Paper I was of hour and after a 30 minutes break, paper II was of 2 hours duration. The candidates will be able to downloading Admit Cards from May 15, 2019. UGC NET exam will be held on June 20, Jube 21, June 24, June 25, June 26, June 27 and June 28, 2019. The results for the exam will be announced July 15, 2019.
The UGC-NET June 2019 exam will be based on the new syllabus, as available on the website of UGC-NET, ugcnetonline.in. Before UGC NET December 2018 exam, UGC NET consisted of three papers. Qualifying UGC-NET exam is basic eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor posts in Indian universities and colleges.
In another development, the NTA has launched a Mobile Application through which the candidates can take mock test prior to the main exam. The candidates can also book a mock test date at the nearest test centre. The Mobile App was launched with the objective of providing mock test facilities to candidates who are from the underprivileged background and rural areas.
