Admission 2020: Students seeking admission in different Under Graduate (UG) or Post Graduate (PG) courses have started their search as the admission process for academic session 2020-2021 has started. Many prominent institutes, as well as universities, have released their application forms, therefore to help the candidates, information about five popular institutions is given here.

1- Manipal University

The candidates should know that Manipal University offers admission in over 200 programmes, in 22 disciplines, and the admission process varies from course to course. In few courses, the university conducts Manipal Entrance Test (MET) while in other courses admission is done through national level exam or qualifying exam marks. The Manipal University has released the application form for various UG and PG courses, on its official website-manipal.edu. The candidates are required to submit online form along with an application fee of Rs 600. Those who want to apply for MET courses, need to pay Rs 1400 as exam fee.

2. Amrita University

Amrita University has its campuses at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Chennai, and Amaravati, and the admission here done on the basis of rank scored in Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE). For the AEEE 2020, which is scheduled to be held from April 23 to 27, 2020, students need to have online registration for the entrance exam at the official website-amrita.edu. The last date to submit the AEEE 2020 application form is April 3, 2020. Notably, candidates can also have their BTech admission at the university on the basis of JEE Main. The admission process for other courses will commence October 2019 onwards.

3. VIT University

For BTech admission at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), online application forms are available at vit.ac.in and interested candidates can submit their forms till February 29, 2019. The candidates will get their admission on the basis of VITEEE 2020, which is scheduled to be held in 2nd to 3rd week of April 2020. The Vellore Institute of Technology offers 43 undergraduate, 32 postgraduate, 4 integrated programmes, besides three research programmes. The VIT University has its campuses at VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal. The university holds a Limca book of records for the 8th time for unbeatable placement records.

4. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES)

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand and has 8 colleges that offer 142 UG, PG and Doctoral courses. The UPES has started online registration for UPES Admission 2020 at its official website, upes.ac.in. The university also offer admission in distance education courses. The university conducts entrance exams, like UPESEAT, for admission in B.Tech and M.Tech, UPES-DAT for BDes, UPESMET for BBA and MBA, ULSAT for LLB. Candidates are shortlisted for admission based on the national level CBT entrance examination or through national level entrance exams like JEE Main, CLAT, CAT. The UPES also offers direct admission through the board exams.

5. Lovely Professional University (LPU)

Lovely Professional University offers admission in specialised courses in over 45 departments, and seats are filled as per the performance of candidates in LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) and other national level entrance examinations like Joint Entrance Examination Main, CLAT, LSAT, NEET etc. The LPU has released application form for LPUNEST 2020 at its official website-nest.lpu.in. The candidates should submit their application for LPUNEST 2020 on or before January 9, 2020. Prior to submission of their application for admission in LPU, candidates need to first register online, and then provide their personal details, academic details, educational qualification details, etc. Qualified candidates have to appear for counselling process.
