The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India is going to sign a trade and investment agreement on Friday, February 18, 2022. The agreement will be presented through a virtual summit attended by the leaders of both countries. This was reported by Emirati media, as per Reuters mentioned.

The signing of the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) will be witnessed by UAE de facto ruler Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to the UAE state news agency WAM, the agreement will "usher in a new era of economic cooperation and unlock greater avenues for trade and investment."
