Total Dhamaal box office collection day 1: 'Total Dhamaal', the sequel to 'Double Dhamaal', has created a flutter at the box office. The third film in the Dhamaal series made Rs 16.50 crore in India business on its opening day. The assembly of stars such as Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Sanjay Mishra lured the audience to the theatres on Day 1.
Film analysts expect that the Indra Kumar-directed third film of the 'Dhamaal' series film will do even better during the weekend and afterwards. 'Total Dhamaal' received mixed reviews from film critics. The comeback of Madhuri may pull more audience to the theatres.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,"#TotalDhamaal - non-holiday release - creates dhamaal on Day 1... Biz multiplies as day progresses... Mass circuits rocking... Metros/plexes witness upward trend... Biz should grow on Day 2 and contribute to a big total over the weekend... Fri ₹ 16.50 cr. India biz."
"No one is looking for logic here... Focusses on humour and entertainment... First half hilarious... Second half could’ve been tighter... Loaded with clean humour... Families and kids should like. #TotalDhamaalReview."
Total Dhamaal clashes with Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt's 'Gully Boy' at the box office. However, Total Dhamaal's flavour of humour and comedy may help it sail through. Unlike Uri and Gully Boy, which are based on serious storylines, Total Dhamaal banks entirely on its entertainment quotient.
