Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL): The board of BHEL will meet on Thursday to consider a proposal for buyback of shares and the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018. 

SKF India Ltd.: The board of directors of the company has approved a proposal for buyback of 1,900,000 Equity Shares at a price of INR 2,100 per Equity Share. 

Telecom Sector: Shares of the telecom sector will remain in focus today India’s telecom subscriber base reached 1.18 billion in August 2018. Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio has added 1.22 crore subscribers while Vodafone and Bharti Airtel have added 11.4 lakh and 10 lakh subscribers in its list.

Tata Steel/Tata Sponge/Usha Martin: Stocks of these three companies will remain in focus because Tata Steel Ltd. has announced its plans to takeover Usha Martin’s steel business through its associate Tata Sponge Iron through a slump sale process.

L&T Finance Holdings: The company has posted September quarter earnings and has reported a decent growth in profits at Rs 560 crore, up 18.4per cent. It made a profit of ₹538 crore in the year-ago period. In addition, it also released details related to its exposure to IL&FS related entities and Supertech. Its exposure in IL&FS and Supertech stands at Rs 1800 crore and Rs 800 crore respectively.
