Jet Airways: The company in its response to National Stock Exchange (NSE) on media reports that said that the airline was planning to raise $400 million from stake sale to private equities (PEs) has said the reports on stake sale are "purely speculative in nature" and that BSR & Co may quit as an auditor is "factually incorrect".
Shree Cement: Cement manufacturing company was awarded the coal linkage for its Raipur plant in Chhattisgarh. The contract of 27,700 tons per annum of Grade 7 coal was awarded to the cement producer following an e-auction. The company paid a winning premium of Rs130 per ton (US$18.76/t), 5.63 per cent of the notified price.
Navneet Education Limited: The company's board is scheduled to meet on August 20, where it is likely to consider and approve the proposal of buyback of the fully paid-up equity shares of the company.
