Thugs of Hindostan box office collection: Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan have had too much showered on them on day 1 and thereafter it kind of dried up a lot. Nevertheless, the movie has already entered the Rs 100 cr club, having earned Rs 123 cr  over its extended weekend (4 days). Now, analysts are predicting a doomsday scenario for Thugs of Hindostan saying it will wrap up at the BO under Rs 150 cr! Be that as it may, Thugs of Hindostan is generating some money abroad too to bolster its overall earnings.

Aamir Khan is a big star in foreign lands too and the same generally shows in his films' earning abroad. Thugs of Hindostan collection overseas has almost reached Rs 50 cr in the period. The overall collection of the film after the opening weekend in overseas are Rs 46.67 cr, Break up is shown in the Taran Adarsh tweet below:

However, it is the Thugs of Hindostan collection on Monday that seems to have hit a big speed bump. The conclusion is that the movie may earn only Rs 5 crore, which is below all expectation levels. The performance of the film is depreciating day by day and it seems that the film is on its last curve to the finish line.  

Trade Analyst Amul Vikas Mohan said, "The first Monday numbers are very shocking. They have dropped furthermore. The movie is almost on its last stretch. It's a very shocking scenario for people attached to it. Monday, they are saying, it's Rs 5 crore, which is appalling."

It was assumed that the movie will not perform well on Monday as Adarsh had tweeted this on Saturday itself, "#ThugsOfHindostan has to show a positive upturn on Day 3 Saturday, else its sustainability from Day 5 [Mon] onwards will be extremely doubtful... One thing is crystal clear: #TOH has NOT met the monumental expectations... The BO numbers are doing the talking now."  

The performance of the Thugs of Hindostan is also compared with Salman Khan's Race 3, which also did not perform so good and got slammed because of its bad script, direction and performance on the screen.

The star cast of the film is important but so as the script of the movie, screenplay, story, performance and much more. Of course, what movie critics say is also important, but above all is word of mouth boost. That is not happening for Thugs of Hindustan collection to get a boost.
