Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan box office collection has broken many records after its release on November 8, 2018. But this was restricted to just day 1! This epic action drama film earned Rs 52.25 cr on its day 1, but day after the earnings fell drastically. Nevertheless, it managed to zip into the Rs 100 cr club.
Now, it is adding to the count gradually. The Thursday opening was tremendous, but the numbers on Friday and Saturday were not even close to the day 1 collection. Sunday was expected to be better than the last two days, but that was not what happened.
The good news for Thugs of Hindostan collection is that after getting a very bad response from critics and from audiences, the film still managed to enter Bollywood's Rs 100 cr club and now it is targetting the Rs 150 cr club! Or is it?
It has been revealed today that Thugs of Hindostan collection total earning reached Rs 123 cr mark from 5,000 screens, as of Sunday, November 11, 2018. On day 2, it earned Rs 29.25 cr, on day 3, it was Rs 23.50 cr and finally on day 4, it was Rs 18.00 cr. Even at this slow rate for an Aamir Khan film, it may not hit the Rs 150 cr mark this week! Or ever!

In a strong statement on Twitter, trade analyst Sumit Kadel said, "#ThugsOfHindostan MONDAY- Done & Dusted. Monday Collection will come in range of ₹ 5-6 cr nett. Lifetime would wrap under ₹ 135-140 cr nett. GARGANTUAN DISASTER"
The problem for Thugs of Hindostan makers is that the budget of the film itself was Rs 200 cr. Well, fortunately for them, the film has the good fortune to fall back on its sale of satellite and digital rights, which reportedly went into three figures too. Then of course, there is the China BO.
As the festival season is coming to an end the business of the much awaited Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan is expected to decline on weekdays.
