This is how people globally sought to fight off Coronavirus
In India 72 per cent of respondents said they used handwashing for protection against the deadly virus. While in Pakistan 59 per cent of the respondents said that they did not adopt handwashing.
While handwashing has proven to be one of the most effective ways for protection against coronavirus, 75 per cent of the global respondents of IANS-CVOTER-Gallup international Association COVID-19 tracker survey said they adopted handwashing against the virus.
The survey that was conducted in 22 countries with over 20,000 respondents found that Austrian people adopted handwashing the most, with 91 per cent of the respondents saying they washed hands for protection against COVID-19 virus.
Austria was followed by Bulgaria where 89 per cent of the respondents said that they used handwashing.

Pakistan was followed by Turkey with 57 per cent of respondents saying they had not adopted handwashing for protection against COVID-19.
