The Sky Is Pink box office collection: The Priyanka and Farhan film is could not cut much ice at the box office. The movie is putting up dismal numbers ever since its release on Friday. The Shonali Bose directorial could only manage to earn Rs 11.95 crore in four days. After making Rs 2.50 crore on Day 1, the movie earned Rs 4 crore on Saturday, Rs 4.2 crore on Sunday and Rs 1.25 crore on Day 4, according to Bollywood Hungamma report.
The Sky is Pink was released at a time when another film, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War is dominating the box office. The movie has received huge footfall in multiplexes across the country and so far Rs 271.65 crore so far has earned Rs 276.40 crore in India business. After hiatus of almost three years, Priyanka has comeback to the industry.
The Sky is Pink had received applause for its content at the Toronto International Film Festival. However, in India, it has received mixed reviews. The audience have to respond well. The collection during the weekdays will give us a better idea about its lifetime collection. However, the movie may continue to face challenges at the box office, as War is showing no sign of slowing down.
The film is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who died of pulmonary fibrosis at an early age (18).
