Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment 2019: TNUSRB aka Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board has invited applications 969 posts of Sub Inspector of Police (Men & Women / Transgender). Interested candidates can apply for the post on or before 19 April 2019. Candidates can directly apply through its official website www.tnusrbonline.org. Candidates will get the pay scale in between Rs. 36,900 – 1,16,600/- pm. Candidates should also know that the job location is in Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility Criteria:
It is expected that the candidates should possess a degree in Science or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission in the pattern of 10+2+3. Also, candidates should have studied Tamil as a subject in X. If not studied, candidates will have to pass the Tamil-Part II Test conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission within 2 years of joining the service.

Age limit:
For the given post the candidates should have the age in between 20- 28 years (As on 01.07.2018), 45 years for Ex-servicemen/ Ex-personnel. Also, age relaxation is given in Upper age limit 05 years for SC & SC (Arunthathiyar)/ST, 03 years for OBC/ BC (Muslim).

Physical Measurement:
Expected height for OC, BC, BC(M) and MBC/DNC candidates should be 163 cms for males, 154 cm for women or transgender. Whereas for SC, SC(A) and ST candidates the male applicants are expected to have 160 cms and for female and transgender it is 152 cms.

Application Fee:
For all category applicants, the application fee is Rs 500, but is the Police Departmental candidate apply for both open quota and departmental quota the application fees is Rs 1000. Candidates can pay the Examination Fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or Pay Offline Through Cash Challan.

Selection Process:
The selection will be done on the basis of written examination, Viva-Voce & Physical Test.
