Super 30 box office collection: The Hrithik Roshan-starrer has been steady at the box office. The movie, based on the life of famed tutor Anand Kumar, has collected good amuont from Mumbai, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh theatres.

The movie, based on the life of famed tutor Anand Kumar, has collected good amuont from Mumbai, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh theatres. In Mumbai, the film has so far earned Rs 21.50 crore, while in Delhi and Uttar pradesh together made Rs 14.53 crore. So far the Vikas Bahl directorial venture has earned Rs 70.23 crore in India business. On Wednesday, the film collected Rs 6.16 crore.
The collection of the movie has been steady. On the opening day (Friday), the movie earned Rs 11.83 crore at the box office. However, the movie faces challenge from Hollywood biggie The Lion King, which will be released on Friday (July 19). It may dent the business of Super 30.
"Mumbai [₹ 21.50 cr] and DelhiUP [₹ 14.53 cr] are the key contributors to the biz of #Super30... Contribution from these two circuits [combined] is 48.70%. Note: Fri to Wed biz. India biz," film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh tweeted today.
"#Super30 is maintaining well on weekdays... Faces #TheLionKing tomorrow and the #Hollywood biggie is expected to make a dent in its biz... Fri 11.83 cr, Sat 18.19 cr, Sun 20.74 cr, Mon 6.92 cr, Tue 6.39 cr, Wed 6.16 cr. Total: ₹ 70.23 cr. India biz."
In the film, Hrithik Roshan plays the role of mathematician Anand Kumar. The film has been made tax free in Bihar by the state government. Anand Kumar earlier thanked the Bihar government for giving entertainment tax exemption to the movie.
