Super 30 had got a booster shot last week when it was declared tax-free in Rajasthan, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Now, to the joy of filmmakers, the movie has declared tax-free in two more regions: Gujarat and Delhi.
Overwhelmed, the actor took to Twitter and thanked Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. "Thank you Vijay Rupani ji @vijayrupanibjp, for rewarding our efforts and declaring Super 30 tax free in Gujarat. Team Super 30 is deeply overwhelmed by your kind gesture," Hrithik said in a tweet.
Anand Kumar, who founded the Super 30 program for underprivileged aspiring IIT students also tweeted to Rupani. "Many thanks Hon’ble Gujarat CM @vijayrupanibjp ji for making #super30 tax free. Your kind gesture will help students and teachers watch the film and take its message. Thanks a lot," he wrote.

Meanwhile, Delhi deputy chief minister tweeted on Tuesday that Anand Kumar visited a Delhi government school with him. Sisodia said that Kumar's work and personality are inspiration for all teachers across country, as children from humble backgrounds achieve their IIT-JEE dreams. "Delhi Govt will be giving tax-free status to the movie ‘Super 30’, so that it can inspire students and teachers in Delhi," he tweeted.
In another tweet, Sisodia announced that Anand Kumar has agreed to conduct one class every month for Delhi government school students. He said that this will be an online, virtual classroom for Class 11, 12 students.
By the end of Monday, Super 30 film had collected over Rs 104 crore. "#Super30 remains strong on [second] Mon... Circuit-wise, Mumbai [₹ 32.55 cr] and DelhiUP [₹ 21.39 cr] are key contributors, followed by Punjab [₹ 9.03 cr] and Mysore [₹ 6.45 cr]... [Week 2] Fri 4.52 cr, Sat 8.53 cr, Sun 11.68 cr, Mon 3.60 cr. Total: ₹ 104.18 cr. India biz," film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.
