BSE Sensex closed at 27,274.15 points, down 0.57% on Friday November 4, 2016. While NSE Nifty lost 0.60% on the same day and closed at 8,433.75 points.
Indian markets followed global cues and lost value through the week as Donald Trump narrowed gap with Hillary Clinton to be the next US president. The country will be voting on Tuesday November 8, 2016.
BSE Sensex ended last week with a 2.4% loss.
