Loan Moratorium Case: The case is scheduled to be heard in the Supreme Court today.
Deepak Fertilizer: The rights issue of Deepak Fertilizer will open today and close on October 12, 2020. The rights issue has been fixed at Rs 133 per share. The eligible shareholders will be entitled to apply for three shares for every 20 equity shares held by them as on the record date. The company seeks to raise up to Rs 180 crore through a rights issue.
Suven Pharmaceuticals: Today is the record date to ascertain shareholders eligible to receive bonus shares. The board of Suven Pharma in August recommended issuing one bonus share for each share held (1:1).

They have to be bought in packets only. With this Maharashtra becomes the first state to ban the sale of loose cigarettes.
PVR/ INOX Leisure: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has allowed cinemas and open theatres to function in the state from October 1, 2020. Other cultural congregations like plays, music, dance and magic shows will also be allowed from the same day. But there is a ceiling of maximum 50 people.
Sequent Scientific: Sequent Scientific has completed the sale of investments held by the company in Strides Pharma Science to Pronomz Ventures LLP on September 25, 2020. The proceeds of the sale (net of taxes) will be predominantly utilised to consolidate the Company's shareholding in Provet Veteriner Urunleri San. Ve Tic. A. S., Turkey (Provet) by acquiring 40 per cent stake held by Dr. Husein Aydin in Provet, with the balance to be used to pare the outstanding debt of the Company. Post the acquisition of minority stake, which is expected to close on or before October 31, 2020, Provet will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.

MEP Infrastructure Developers: The toll rates will increase at the entry points to Mumbai from October 1, 2020. The rates have been increased from Rs 5 to 25. For cars and light motor vehicles who were paying Rs 35 at the entry points to the city will have to pay Rs 40 from next Thursday. The revised prices are here to stay until September 30, 2023. The toll prices are revised in every three years.
