Domestic benchmark indices ended with modest gains on Friday, October 9, 2020, rising for the seventh consecutive session. The S&P BSE Sensex, added 326.82 points or 0.81% at 40,509.49. The Nifty 50 index jumped 79.60 p points or 0.67% at 11,914.20. The Nifty has risen 6.16% in seven sessions. But certain stocks came in news after the market was closed. Mazagaon dock and UTI Listing + Federal-Mogul

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: The public sector undertaking defence company Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders share is set to debut on bourses today after a stellar IPO subscription. The Rs 444 crore initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 157.4 times, which is the highest subscription till now in 2020. The issue price has been fixed at Rs 145 per share at the higher end of the price band. 

UTI Asset Management Company (AMC): UTI AMC’s shares will debut on stock exchanges on today. The Rs 2,160 crore initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 2.31 times Issue price has been fixed at Rs 5554 per share. 

Federal-Mogul Goetze (India) Ltd:  IEH FMGI Holdings LLC, one of the members of the promoter group of the Company, has brought an offer for sale for 1.21 crore shares or 21.83% equity. The floor price for the OFS has been fixed at Rs 342 per share. The OFS will open today for the non-retail investors and tomorrow, October 13, 2020, for retail investors. 

Vedanta: Vedanta Ltd on Saturday said its delisting offer is deemed to have failed as per terms of delisting regulations. Confirmed Bids for 125.45 crore shares were tendered on the last day of offer against required 134.5 crore shares.  

Indiabulls Housing Finance: Indiabulls Housing Finance on Friday said it has sold its additional stake in OakNorth Bank for Rs 441 crore to Riva Capital Partners. With the latest stake sale, the Company has raised a total of Rs 2,273 crores as fresh equity in September and October 2020. 

Sun Pharma: The leading drug maker Sun Pharma has recalled 747 bottles of generic diabetes drug in the US due to the possibility of the affected lot containing cancer-causing nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) above the acceptable intake limit.

Shilpa Medicare: Shilpa Medicare has received a warning letter through email from the USFDA for its Jadcherla facility, Telangana. The company has informed that it will be engaging with the agency and is fully committed to resolving this issue at the earliest. It added, the company believes that the warning letter will have a minimum impact of disruption of supplies and the existing revenues from operations of this facility.
