PSU in focus: The group of secretaries on disinvestment is scheduled to meet on January 16, 2020, to take up discussion on disinvestment of CPSEs.

Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd: The company's board is scheduled to meet today to consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares of the company and also would consider a proposal to set up a Share Based Employee Benefits Scheme.
Telecom stocks in focus: The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear in-chamber review petitions filed by Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and other telecom companies on adjusted gross revenue (AGR). The petition was filed after the apex court had, on October 24, 2019, upheld the definition of adjusted gross revenue (AGR), as decided by the Department of Telecom (DoT).
Jet airways: South America’s Synergy Group and New Delhi-based Prudent ARC Ltd have submitted their expression of interest (EoI) to acquire the airline that shut operations in April 2019. London-based Hinduja group has pulled out itself from the bids. January 15, 2020, was the deadline for submission of EoIs to acquire Jet Airways (India) Ltd.
IndiGo: InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo): Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker has said the company will buy as much stake of the company, as possible.
