Stock Market: On account of positive domestic institutional investors (DII), Indian indices extended its early morning gains. The BSE Sensex soared 622 points and closed at 30,818 levels while the NSE Nifty regained 9,000 levels and closed at 9,066 — 187 points up from its yesterday close. Bank Nifty shot up 353 points and closed at 17,840 levels. Shares of consumer durables, healthcare, realty, banking and finance were among the major gainers in the intraday trade session.

Giving important levels of the Indian share market Prakash Pandey, MD & CEO at Plutus Advisors said, "Market is trading in the range of 8,700 to 9,100. Nifty ahs regained 9,000 levels but it is still below 9,100, which is a strong resistance. If Nifty manages to break this resistance and sustain above 9,100 then we can expect it to hit 9,380 levels soon." However, advised share market investors to booking-profit on every 5-6 per cent rise.

Shares of Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Housing Development Finance, Bajaj Finance, ITC, IndusInd Bank and Aurobindo Pharma were among the most trending stocks in the closing bell trade session while shares of Dr. Reddy's Labs, Axis Bank, Housing Development Finance and IndusInd Bank were among the most active stocks in the early morning trade session.

Healthcare stocks led the bull run as the BSE healthcare index shot up around 3.15 per cent in the intraday trade. Healthcare major Aurobindo Pharma share price soared 6.71 per cent, Alkem Laboratories shares scaled 3.19 per cent, shares of Ajanta Pharma went up 4.64 per cent, Biocon counter added 3.12 per cent, Cadila Healthcare scrip added 3.53 per cent, Cipla stock price shot up 4.57 per cent, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories stocks went northward 5.88 per cent, Piramal Enterprises scrip went up 3.96 per cent while Wockhardt stocks went up 4.99 per cent.

Realty stocks also witnessed some fresh buying as the BSE Realty index went up over 2.3 per cent. Realty major DLF share price skyrocketed 6.32 per cent, Godrej Properties shares added 2.26 per cent, shares of Housing Development & Infrastructure rose 1.27 per cent but Sobha stocks went down near 4.98 per cent.

Among the major Asian markets, the Japanese Nikkei went up 0.79 per cent, South Korean Kospi added 0.46 per cent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng went up 0.05 per cent while Shanghai index slide 0.51 per cent.

At Wall Street yesterday, Dow 30 crashed 1.59 per cent, Nasdaq dipped 0.54 per cent, SmallCap 2000 wemnt down 0.96 per cent while went southward 1.05 per cent.
