Stock Market Closing Bell Today: On account of strong global cues, the Indian indices logged around 1.5 per cent gains after the closing bell today. The BSE Sensex surged 600 points and closed at 39,574 levels while the 50-stocks NSE Nifty index went 159 points northward and closed at 11,662 mark. Bank Nifty index soard 482 points and closed at 22,853 levels.

Spe3aking on the current market trends Rohit Singre, Senior Technical Stock Analyst at LKP Securities said, "Overall market is bullish till it is trading above 11,400. Any dip in the range should be seen as a buying opportunity. Currently, the market has strong hurdle in the range of 11,700 to 11,750 but once the markt manages to break this hurdle, we can soon witness 12,000 levels at NSE Nifty."

Shares of Thyrocare Tech, GIC Housing Finance, Sobha, Au Small Finance Bank, Lakshmi Machines, Tata Motors, HDFC, Brigade Enterprises, LIC Housing Finance and Bandhan Bank were among the leading gainers after the closing bell today while shares of Trident, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Mahindra Holidays, Vodafone Idea, Symphony, Adani Green Energy, Cummins India and Central Bank of India were among the leading losers after the closing bell trade session.

Realty stocks led the bull run on Dalal Street as the BSE Realty index shot up around 2.41 per cent after the closing bell today. Realty major Sobha share price skyrocketed 9.62 per cent, Brigade Enterprises shares rose 6.12 per cent, shares of Godrej Properties went up 4.34 per cent, Indiabulls Real Estate stock price appreciated 2.83 per cent, DLF stocks shot up 1.91 per cent while Oberoi Realty counter added 1.55 per cent after the closing bell today.

In banking sector, Bandhan Bank share price soard 4.70 per cent, RBL Bank shares shot up 3.08 per cent, shares of IndusInd Bank appreciated 3.44 per cent, HDFC Bank share went northward 2.70 per cent while State Bank of India or SBI share price soard 1.51 per cent.

Among the major Asian indices, the Japanese Nikkei 225 index shot up 0.52 per cent, Kospi added 0.34 per cent while Hang Seng shot up 0.90 per cent while Shanghai index lost 0.20 per cent after the closing bell trade session.

At Wall Street yesterday, Dow Jones skyrocketed 1.68 per cent, Nasdaq soard 2.32 per cent, S&P 500 jumped 1.80 per cent while Small Cap 2000 surged 2.70 per cent.
