Stock Market Closing Bell Today: On accocunt of mixed cues from the global and domestic indicators, the Indian indices continued to trade range-bound throughout the intraday trade session. On global front, weak US market cues continued to boost the morale of the bears while the ease in India China border tension held the positive morale of bulls. The BSE Sensex shot up 7 points after closing at 38,848 mark while the 50-stocks NSE Nifty edged edged 15 points higher at 11,464. Bank Nifty added 13 points and closed at 22,479 mark.
Speaking on the closing bell today Simi Bhaumik, a SEBI registered technical equity analyst said, "NSE Nifty has closed near 11,450 that means the market is still in the range of 11,400 to 11,500. It has strong resistance at 11,500 to 11,550 range. If the 50-stocks index manages to break this hurdle and sustains above 11,550 level, we can expect it to go up to 11,800 and then possibly at 12,000 mark." She maintained that pharma, auto, metal and IT stocks will continue to dominate the market rally.
