SSC Recruitment: Important update for Staff Selection Commission jobs aspirants

SSC Stenographer Recruitment: The SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' exam 2017 final result tentative date has been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The Commission has fixed a tentative date of declaration of final result on March 29, 2019. The candidates may check their result on ssc.nic.in. 

The Staff Selection Commission had declared the result of Skill Test of Stenographers Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ examination, 2017, on November 28, 2018, and uploaded it to its website. An additional result of the Skill Test for the exam was also declared on December 10, 2018.

The Commission in a statement said, "Consequent upon receipt of some representations from the candidates regarding the evaluation of their Skill Test, the Commission has undertaken a comprehensive review of such cases."

"The Commission will declare the final result of the above-mentioned examination on 29-03-2019," it said. SSC had issued notifications for these vacancies in 2017. The Staff Selection Commission had held an open competitive Computer Based Examination for the recruitment of stenographer Grade C and Stenographer Grade D in September 2017. SSC will fill 1,473 vacancies.

The selected candidates will be deployed in Ministries/Departments of central government, including their attached/subordinate offices located in states and Union Territories across the country. Selected candidates have to serve probation period of two years. The candidates should regularly check the official website for updates. The March 29, 2019, date is tentative so it may change. The Commission will announce on its website when the results for the SSC Stenographer 2017 Final Results are declared.
