SSC Recruitment 2019: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineer post on its official website- ssc.nic.in on February 1.
SSC Recruitment 2019: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineer post on its official website- ssc.nic.in on February 1. Interested candidates can apply online for the same at the official website of SSC on or before 25 February. SSC did not mention the number of vacant posts for Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts). But it is expected that SSC will announce around 1000 vacancies this year.
The recruited candidates would be posted in various Engineering Departments including Electrical, Civil and Quantity Surveying and Contract. The date for the examination has not been released yet, it is expected that SSC will soon announce the date for examination for the recruitment of Junior Engineer.
The application process has already started on its official website. The examination will be conducted in online mode only for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying and contract) across the country.

Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank): 28-02-2019
Date of Computer Based Examination (Paper-I): 23-09-2019 to 27-09-2019

Eligibility Criteria for SSC JE 2019 Post
Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) - 3 years Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying & Contract)- 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognised institute/University/Board or equivalent; OR Passed Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying Sub Divisional-II of the institute of Surveyors (India).

Junior Engineer (Central Water Commission/ CPWD) - 32 Years
Junior Engineer Civil (Department of Post) and Junior Engineer Quality Surveying and Contract (MES)- 27 Years
Junior Engineer (MES/ Farrakka Barrage/ Director General Border Roads Organisation/ Central Water Power Research Station/ Dte of Quality Assurance(Naval)/ National Technical Research Organisation)- 30 Years
