SSC recruitment 2018: The online registration process for Grade VI selection posts by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has already begun and will close on October 5, 2018. In order to apply for the posts, the interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website: www.ssconline.nic.in. The last date for closing the application process was September 30, 2018 but has now been extended to October 5, 2018.

SSC recruitment 2018: How to apply?
a. Visist the official website:  www.ssconline.nic.in
b. Go to the homepage.
c. Click on the application link for selection post recruitment.
d. Now, click on 'New Registration.'
e. Complete the registration process
f. Next, click on ‘New Registration’ and complete the registration process.
g. After completeing the registration process, log in with the registration ID and password.
h. Fill in the necessary details in the application form.
g. Submit the form and download application fee challan for future reference.

SSC recruitment 2018: Application fee
Rs 100 is the application fee is Rs 100 which is to be paid through SBI challan only. Candidates can pay the fee till October 3, 2018.
Female candidates, SC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.

Applicants should apply only online and applications received through any other mode would be rejected. They should apply only once for one post. In case of multiple applications for one post, all their applications will be rejected. 
 
Notably, candidates may be asked to submit the application form along with other requisite documents when called by the Commission after the computer-based examination.
 
The Staff Selection Commission was set to conduct examinations for recruitment to lower categories of posts. It is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training and comprises of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations who are appointed on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Central government from time to time. The Commission is provided such supporting staff as considered necessary by the Central government.
