South Indian Bank Recruitment 2018: South Indian Bank has invited applications for the posts of Probationary Officer. The last date for submission of the application form is December 16, 2018. The applicants may apply in the prescribed format before the deadline ends. The candidates should go through the official notification to make sure that they have all the requisite qualification and fulfil all other criteria as stated in the notification. The have to follow the instruction while applying for the posts.
The application process for the recruitment will start from December 10, 2018. The Online test for the posts of probationary officer will be held on December 29, 2018.
Selection process, and fee structure:
The selected candidates have to undergo a 8-month residential campus programme at the Manipal Global Education Services Bangalore (MaGE) and 4 months’ internship at Bank Branch.
During the Campus programme, a well-structured syllabus is designed to meet the skill sets as required and to identify candidates in areas of their excellence. On successful completion of the programme, the candidates may be awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and will be absorbed to the services of the Bank as Probationary Officer in Scale I cadre, the notification says.
The fees for this Programme will be Rs 3.50 lakhs (all inclusive of boarding, Lodging(during the programme period] and programme fees, other fees, etc.) plus taxes, as applicable to be paid by the student.
Salary:
IBA approved pay scale of Rs 23700–980/7–30560-1145/2–32850-1310/7-42020 plus DA, HRA and other allowances.
Educational Qualification
The candidates should be X/ SSLC, XII/ HSC pass and hold a Graduation degree with at least 60 percent marks.
Age limit:
The candidates should not be more than 25 years of age. There will be 5 years relaxation in age for SC/ST candidates.
Application Fee
For the General Category candidates fee is Rs 800, while for SC/ST category it is Rs 200.
