Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been helping the needy since the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown was first imposed in the country. There were numerous occasions when the actor has lent his support to the people who needed it the most. He has been on a mission mode of sorts to help out people who have been struggling during this Covid 19 pandemic crisis.

This noble gesture of the actor has been appreciated and acknowledged by one and all. In sort of acknowledgement of all the good work done by the actor during the lockdown, Punjab has made him brand ambassador for state's anti-coronavirus vaccination programme. This was announced by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Sunday. 

 

The development comes after Sonu met the Punjab chief minister at his residence on Saturday, April 10.  

 

The actor, who appeared committed to make this drive a success, took to twitter and posted, "It's an honour to be a part of this drive sir. We will make sure everyone gets vaccinated soon. Together we will reach out to each and every family for a safer tomorrow."

"Let's promise to get everyone vaccinated to ensure the safety of our loved ones," he said in another tweet.  

He has been seen as a messiah for the migrants as he arranged food and reached out to thousands of migrant workers and helped them reach their homes in far off states safely last year.
