Sonu Sood is the name that we often heard during the COVID-19 crisis period in India. The 47-year-old actor catapulted to the national spotlight for helping migrant workers reach their home states during the nationwide lockdown last year. He also helped people during the second wave of COVID-19. The Bollywood actor now has a new role ahead of him. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal informed at a press conference today that Sood has agreed to become the brand ambassador for their ' Desh Ke Mentors' program which will be launched soon.

News agency ANI tweeted about this new role of Sonu Sood. The tweet from the official Twitter handle of ANI said, "Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and actor Sonu Sood address a joint press conference. Sonu Sood ji has agreed to become the brand ambassador of our 'Desh Ke Mentors' program which will be launched soon: Delhi CM."

 

The Bollywood actor met with Delhi Chief Minister today at the national capital. A PTI report yesterday stated that as per sources Sonu Sood was scheduled to meet Kejriwal today though the agenda of the meeting was not clear.

Sood believes that there is no grater service that guiding the students. News agency tweeted from its official Twitter handle, "Today, I have been given an opportunity to mentor lakhs of students. There is no greater service than guiding students. I am sure together we can & we will: Actor Sonu Sood in Delhi. Sood has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the Delhi govt's 'Desh Ke Mentors' program."

 

The cctor and social worker also appealed to the privileged people to help the needy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
