Sikkim lottery results today: If you have purchased this lottery then your wait for the results is over. The Directorate of State Lotteries, Government of Sikkim has declared results of its Dear Lottery live from Gangtok at 4 pm today. This information is available on the website sikkimlotteries.com.

The first prize has been won by a person with lottery ticket number 94B 32759 which carried the first prize of Rs 1 cr. The second prize of Rs 9,000 was awarded to 10 persons, as per the information on its website.

The third prize, which carried a reward of Rs 500 was given to 10 people. The 4th and 5h prizes carrying rewards of Rs 250 and Rs 120 were also given. A consolation prize of Rs 1000 was also given.

The cost of this lottery was Rs 6 and this was the 11th draw of this Thursday series of Dear lotteries.

The directorate had also announced results of its Dear Precious Morning Draw today. It was the 41st draw for this series. The first prize was a reward of Rs 1 cr.

The Sikkim government started this lottery with an objective to generate and raise its revenue to promote fund for various developmental activities and social importance, the government website says.

The state has been conducting, organising and promoting state lotteries by appointing Marketing Agents/Distributors by means of open National level Tender in accordance with the provision of the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998 (Central Act 17 (a) 1998) and the rules made there under, the website says.

At present, the State Government of Sikkim is drawing 24 lotteries (08 paper lotteries and 16 online lotteries) which are marketed through 3 (three) Marketing Agents/Distributors appointed for the purpose. This is in conformity with the rule 3(vi) of the Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2010, the website further says.

Apart from lotteries, casinos and online games & sports games are under the administrative control of the Directorate of Sikkim State Lotteries.
