Sensex opens above 100 points amid mixed global trends
The BSE Sensex opened near 120 points up at 35632 while Nifty was trading at 0.3 percent up at 10,708.
Keeping mixed global cues and weekend tradeing session in mind, Indian traders looked cautious when the Indian markets opened. The BSE Sensex opened near 120 points up at 35632 while Nifty was trading at 0.3 percent up at 10,708. Among major Asian bourses Hang Seng was trading near 1.3 percent higher, Kospi was up by around 0.5 percent but Nikkei was down by around 2.5 percent and FTSE was down by a whisker 0.1 percent.
TOP GAINERS:
Bharti Infratel: It jumped 3.13 per cent to Rs 171.25.
Tata Motors: It surges 3.18 per cent strong to Rs 170.80.
BhartI Airtel: It gained 1.67 per cent to trade at Rs 318.
TOP LOSERS:
ICICI Bank: It was a loser with 0.94 per cent down to Rs 360
HCL Tech: It lost 0.87 per cent to trade at Rs 940
TCS: IT giant, lost 0.67 percent to Rs 1,888.
