Sensex falls 300 points; Nifty down 80 points

The 50-scrip index of National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell over 80 points in the afternoon session.
At 14:13 hours, the Nifty index was trading down 82.40 points, or 1%, at 8,190.65 on the NSE.
Nifty, which had closed at 8,273.05 points on Wednesday, opened at 8,273.35 points in the early morning trade.
