Ayodhya is preparing for the much-awaited ‘bhumi pujan’ of the grand Ram Mandir scheduled for Wednesday amid tight security arrangements. All the guests who are coming from other districts or states, have been asked to reach Ayodhya by Tuesday evening because the borders of the district will be sealed in the evening. A total of 175 people have been invited to the Sri Ram Temple Trust for bhumi pujan, including about 135 saints who will come from different parts of the country.
Silver coin for every guest
Every guest who is invited for the `bhumi pujan` ceremony for the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya on Wednesday, will be gifted a silver coin as `prasad`. The silver coin, on one side, has the image of Ram Darbar which includes Lord Ram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman and on the other side is the insignia of trust.
1.25 lakh laddoos
The guests will also be given a box of `laddoos` and a photograph of Ram Darbar. Over 1.25 lakh laddoos, called `Raghupati laddoos` will be distributed to guests, residents of Ayodhya and others on August 5.

Security code for guests
Every invitation for the ceremony has a security code which will not allow re-entry to any invitee, said Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai.
"The code will allow only one entry and if the person goes out and tries to re-enter, the code will not function. This is being done for security purposes," he had said at a press conference.
Drones for VIP routes
As part of security measures, the UP police will use drones on all the VIP routes and on roads heading towards temple town.
“We are continuously keeping a watch across the VIP routes via drones. There are no movement restrictions for the people residing in Ayodhya. I urge people not to step outdoors to contain Covid-19. We will not let outsiders enter the city,” the DIG was quoted as saying by ANI.
Barricades at a dozen places
Police have decided to place barricades at several places across the town to avoid traffic congestion and ensure smooth movement. They have also planned route diversions to ease traffic movement.
