Sarkari Naukri 2019:  The Indian Navy has released a notification for the recruitment for the post of Sailor for February 2020 Batch Course. There are total 2700 vacancies out of which 2200 vacancies are for Indian Navy SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) and 500 vacancies for Indian Navy AA (Artificer Apprentice). The eligible candidates are supposed to submit their applications in the prescribed format, on the scheduled date. The selection of the candidates will be based on a Computer-based Examination, followed by Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations conducted by the selection body. Eligibility

  • Sailor Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) : 12th passed with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India
  • Sailor Artificer Apprentice (AA) : 12th passed with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Age Limit

The candidates should be born between February 1 2000 to January 3 2003.

The candidates are required to submit the application form before the last date through online mode only. Further, the candidates are to pay an application fee of Rs 205. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. It should be noted that both the application and fee is supposed to be filled by online mode only.
