Sanju box office collection: Actor Sanjay Dutt's biopic Sanju that stars Ranbir Kapoor is making a killing at the BO, so much so that it looks set to beat the iconic Aamir Khan starrer PK's lifetime collection record! ThisRanbeer Kapoor starrer has already beaten Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez movie Race 3 to become the highest opener of the year so far. Sanju movie collection in opening weekend has also crossed the magical Rs 100 crore mark. However, considering the massive momentum behind the movie, analysts are predicting even bigger things for Ranbir Kapoor going forward.
So, even as Sanju collection goes on its way in a Juggernaut like manner, it is all set to rewrite all time history books. According to trade analyst Sumit Kadel, Sanju may soon break PK's lifetime box office collection record of Rs 340.8 crore and become Bollywood's No. 1!
"Watched Sanju again today. I must say this film is a MASTERPIECE. Emotional roller coaster ride, Ranbir Kapoor adopted each and every mannerism of Sanjay Dutt to perfection. Fans of baba would understand properly why i am saying this. Sanju can break PK lifetime collection record," said Sumit Kadel.
"Sanju Noon shows- Multiplexes and Single screens on fire. Registering phenomenal 90-95 per cent occupancy, B and C centers which were not performing upto the mark on Friday, Saturday are also on fire today (Sunday). Today collection can go anywhere, 44 , 46, even 50 crore," he added.
Famously, Aamir Khan starrer PK had earned Rs 26.63 crore on the opening day, and Rs 95.41 crore at the end of opening weekend. This also puts in perspective the explosive potential of Sanju collection.

Meanwhile, Sanju grossed a whopping Rs 34.75 crore at the box office on its first day. Early estimates show the film earned over Rs 38.60 crore on Saturday, taking its opening 2 day collection to around Rs 73.35 crore. It is expected to garner over Rs 40 cr on Sunday!
A movie like Sanju, which is a biopic, and yet did this well is a big achievement in itself. And the reviews of the critics prove that the movie is doing great on its own power. Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt careers have surely been rejuvenated by this great performance by Sanju.
