Sanju box office collection opening weekend: The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju has not only received a thunderous response from audience but has also witnessed one of the widest releases across 5300+ screens (domestic 4000 + overseas 1300+). The film has also received positive feedback from critics and the viewers themselves are raving about the movie. This has spurred Sanju collection to unheard of levels. Now, it has been revealed that Sanju collection in opening weekend is a miraculous Rs 120.06 crore! This is courtesy Sanju collection earning a record breaking Rs Rs 46.71 crore on day 3. The day-wise break up for India market is: Day 1 (Rs 34.75 cr), Day 2 (Rs 38.60 cr), Day 3 (Rs 46.71).
 
Sanju collection worldwide collection (worldwide gross) stands at Rs 157.87 cr, and this includes Rs 153.92 cr in India as of July 1; North America, including US and Canada is Rs 1.11 cr as of June 29. Similarly, as of June 20, collections in other places are: UK Rs 1.19 cr, Australia Rs 1.32 cr; and New Zealand Rs 0.33 cr. Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju has now become the highest opening weekend grosser of the year with these massive collections. The film has already beaten Salman Khan’s Race 3 by a very big margin.

The movie has beaten the collections of previous releases including Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 34.10 crore), Chennai Express (Rs 33.12 crore), Ek tha Tiger (Rs 32.93 crore) and Singham Returns (Rs 32.09 crore), but was away from the earlier opening day records made by films like Happy New Year (Rs 44.97 crore), Baahubali 2-The conclusion (Rs 41 crore), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 40.35 crore), Sultan (Rs 36.54 crore) and Dhoom 3 (Rs 36.22 crore)..
