Sanju box office collection day 3: This  Rajkumar Hirani-directed movie, that stars Ranbir Kapoor, may strike gold and earn over Rs 44 crore on Sunday, which is day 3. The movie has created record by earning Rs 117 crore in three days. Sanju earned Rs. 34.75 crore on the opening Day and the good run is continuing. On Saturday, the movie earned Rs 38.60 crore.

The movie directed by  Rajkumar Hirani, who has successful movies like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S (2003), Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006) and 3 Idiots under his belt, is expected to do well at the box office through the week.   Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel in a tweet said," #Sanju Sunday- Rs. 44 cr nett (early estimates). Total weekend collection- Rs. 117 cr+ and that's an ALL TIME RECORD.  HUGE BLOCKBUSTER @FoxStarIndia @VVCFilms @RajkumarHirani."

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju has also created ripples in Australia. The film collects A$ 931,947, beating the opening weekend business of Dhoom3 (A$ 695,782), PK (A$ 680,524), Sultan (A$ 639,513), Dangal (A$ 735,755), TigerZindaHai (A$ 577,781) and Baahubali 2 (Hindi; A$ 839,323). 

"The two -- Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor - are the biggest beneficiaries from #Sanju... Hirani has consolidated and cemented his status with yet another SMASH HIT... Ranbir needed a Hit, the massive BO numbers to bring him back and yes, he's back with a vengeance," Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said.

The movie has earned critical acclaim from audience and critics alike.  The features Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles. Karan Johar earlier in a tweet said Ranbir Kapoor is just such a BRILLIANT and GIFTED actor.
