Sanju box office collection day 10: When it released, this Ranbir Kapoor film, which was a biopic on the life of beleaguered Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, was given no chance at all at the box office. But lo and behold, it has raced past almost every other movie released in 2018 to take the number 2 position behind Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer Padmaavat. While Sanjay Dutt has led a very colourful life, no one had imagined that a biopic on his life would become so popular and lead to the destruction of one Bollywood record after another. Sanju movie even went on to set an all-time record too, that of logging a take of Rs 46.71 Cr in a single day. No one has been able to achieve that ever in the history of Indian cinema!

Sanju collection has beaten Salman Khan movie Race 3 collection, which earned Rs 166.19 cr in its lifetime. Sanju has earned a massive Rs 28.05 Cr on Sunday, which is day 10 of its release! Sanju collection is now at a mind-boggling Rs 265.48 cr. And if it continues to maintain its momentum, the film is going to enter the prestigious Rs 300 cr club this week itself. It is a tough task, but then, no one had even thought Sanju film would even be able to enter the Rs 100 cr club.

Padmaavat logged such a high score simply because of the massive controversy that surrounded it. Sanju has nothing but Sanjay Dutt's controversial life and Ranbir Kapoor's excellent essaying of the role to fall back upon. Significantly, word of mouth boost is still working wonders for the movie.
