RRB Recruitment 2018: Railway Recruitment Body (RRB), the recruiting arm of the Indian Railways, has invited applications for 89409 posts. The ongoing week is the last date for applying for the Group C and Group D posts. March 31, 2018, is the last date for completing the application process. The recruitment notification issued in February 2018 invited applications for posts like assistance loco pilots (ALP) and technicians as well as Trackman, Gangman, Cabinman, Leverman, Pointsman, Keyman, Fitter, Porter, Shunter, Welder, Helper-II, Gr. D (Store), Helper-II (Mech), Helper-II (ST), Gr. D (Engg.), and Switchman.

Qualification: Every candidate who is applying for the posts should have a passing certificate of class 10th or ITI from an institution that is recognised by NCVT/SCVT. They may also have National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
RRB Recruitment 2018 Pay Scale: Rs 18,000 per month + allowances as per 7th Pay Commission report Level 1.

Note: After being notified in February, the notification was amended once. The amendment saw the extension of date of application from March 12 to March 31, 2018, and relaxation in eligibility criteria. In terms of eligibility criteria, relaxation was given for 10th pass candidates, earlier IIT certificate was mandatory.
