RRB JE Recruitment 2019: Indian Railways issued a notification last year for bumper vacancies in different posts, and the process is still on. In that recruitment drive, Railway Recruitment Board in its internal notification through its social media has announced as many as 14,033 vacant positions of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (IT), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). Candidates will be able to submit their online application from 2nd January 2019 at the RRB website. The last date for submission of Railway JE online application form is 31st January 2019.

Notably, the candidates under RRB JE Recruitment will get Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix salary after their selection. The initial pay will be Rs 35,400 per month, along with other allowances as admissible by RRB.

According to reports, the vacancies released are tentative, as they may increase or decrease also at a later stage. The examination date for the RRB JE exam 2019 is not announced yet. 

Application Fees: Candidates belonging to general category need to pay fee of Rs 500, while SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women/ Ex-Serviceman/Transgender/Minorities have to pay Rs 250. 

Notably, Rs 400 will be refunded to general category students while Rs 250 will be refunded to the remaining category candidates after the first stage of CBT.

Age Limit: Candidates minimum age is 18 years while their maximum age should not exceed 33 years as on 1st January 2019. The age relaxation of various category will be followed as per norms.

Educational Qualification

Junior Engineer (JE): Candidates should have Diploma/Degree in Engineering

Junior Engineer (IT): Candidates should be PGDCA/B.Sc/B.Tech/BCA in Computer Science or IT

Depot Material Superintendent (DMS): Candidates should have Diploma/Degree in Engineering

Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Candidates should have atleast 45% marks in the Bachelor's Degree (Science) with Physics and Chemistry

Selection Process: Candidates will have to face three stages of tests including Computer Based Test (CBT 1 & 2), followed by document verification, Medical Examination.
