RRB Group D result 2019: This candidate got 843 marks out of 500? Indian Railways clarifies
Noticing it on social media, Indian Railways on Tuesday responded, stating that the score sheet of a Group-D exam candidate is morphed.
RRB Group D result 2019: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has recently announced the result for RRB Group-D exam, which was organised to fill 62,907 vacancies. Over one crore candidates registered for the examination and the Railways uploaded the result on its official websites, showing about 1,90,000 aspirant being shortlisted to take the next exam of physical efficiency test. On social media, a score sheet of a Group-D exam candidate has gone viral, showing how a candidate scored 109, 148, 102,130, 354 marks each out of 100 in different sections of the test.
Noticing it on social media, Indian Railways on Tuesday responded, stating that the score sheet of a Group-D exam candidate is "morphed". The Ministry of Railways clarified it and tweeted, "A candidate score sheet with very high score is being made viral. Please note that this score sheet is morphed. The correct score sheet is given below. Please don't be misguided by unscrupulous elements. Indian Railways Recruitment system is fair and transparent."
In another tweet, it said, "Some facts against misinformation being circulated, in media, on the methodology of marking system for level 1 selection test conducted by Indian Railways."
Notably, the Railway Recruitment Board announced the RRB Group D result 2019 on March 4, on its official website- rrbcdg.gov.in. The result was released in pdf format and candidates were requested to look for their roll number in the RRB Group D result pdf.

The RRB Group D exam 2019 was conducted between September and December 2018, and officials had stated to declare the results before March, but the Railway Recruitment Board announced it on March 4 only.
