RRB ALP Admit Card 2018: Indian Railways' exam for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician is being held today. Railways has already conducted five exams in phases till now. The exams were held on August 9, 10, 13, 14 and 17. The next sets of exams will be held on August 21, 29, 30 and 31. August 21 e-call letter can be downloaded by visiting Recruitment section of indianrailways.gov.in.

Indian Railways's RRBs (Railway Recruitment Boards) have released e-call letter for its August 21 exam on their websites. Due to a large number of applicants, Railways has been releasing the e-admit cards just four days prior to the exam dates. Candidates have been advised to keep a tab on their respective RRB site for updates.

Candidates can download their e-call letter using their user id and date of birth.

Earlier, Indian Railways had released notifications for 1.2 lakh posts of Assistant Loco Pilots, Technicians and Level-I (Group D) staffs. The first exam for the posts was held on August 9. Railways has said that candidate turnout in these exams are highest among all the RRB exams held till date.

There are 60,000 posts for Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. A total of 47.55 lakh candidates have applied for these posts. However, a total of 2.4 crore candidates have applied for 1.2 lakh posts.

This has resulted in many candidates getting their exam centre outside of their state. However, Railways had said that around 83 per cent of candidates has been allotted centres within 500 km radius of their hometown.
