RIMS Ranchi Recruitment 2019: Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi has invited applications from interested candidates for the post of 362 Staff Nurse, asking them to apply before April 30, 2019 at its official website--www.rimsranchi.org. Candidates are advised to first go through the details related to recruitment qualification, eligibility conditions, and then only submit their application. 

According to the notification, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi will recruitment 362 Staff Nurse in the pay scale of Level-7.

Educational Qualification: Interested candidates should hold a degree in BSc (Nursing) from a recognized university/ Institute/ BSc (Post certificate/ equivalent)/ BSc (Nursing) (post basic) & should be registered with Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council.

Age Limit: The maximum age of candidates should not exceed 35 years as on on 31.12.2018.

Application fee: Candidates need not pay any application fee.

Notably, the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is a Medical Institute of Ranchi University in Ranchi--the capital of Jharkhand. Established under an act of Jharkhand Assembly, the RIMS is an autonomous body and is one of the premier medical colleges in the state as well as India.

Established in 1960, the institute was originally called Rajendra Medical College Hospital after Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The Medical College Hospital came into existence in February 1965. Dr NL Mitra was the first principal of the college, and Dr KP Shrivastava was the first director of the Institute after it was renamed. RIMS provides free medical service to the patients along with essential drugs.
