The 73rd Republic Day witnessed the "grandest and largest" flypast ever with 17 Jaguar aircraft making a figure of 75 in the parade at Rajpath Delhi under the 'Amrit' formation. The aircraft mark the celebration of 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav'.

The flypast included Tangail formation, consisting of one Dakota and two Dorniers flying in Vic formation. This was a nod to the Tangail airdrops operations of the 1971 War.
A Meghna formation of one Chinook and four Mi-17s was also there.
The flypast began with four Mi-17 aircraft in the 'Dhwaj' formation, followed by four and five Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) in the 'Rudra' and 'Rahat' formations, respectively.
Rafale, the Indian Navy's MiG29K, P-8I observation aircraft, and Jaguar fighter planes were among the other aircraft on display at the parade.
