43rd All India Entrance Exam for Fire Sub Officers Registrations: The National Fire Service College, Nagpur has started accepting applications for the 43rd All India Entrance Exam for Sub Officers Course. Candidates who wish to apply for the All India Entrance Exam can do it on or before 29th September 2019. Eligible candidates successfully completing the process of registration will be required to appear for the entrance test and qualify the same to take up the course. Candidates can presently fill up their application form in the online mode on the official website of NFSC.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates applying for the examination should have completed their graduation or 3 years Diploma by 31st August 2019 in any branch of Engineering from any University recognized by A.I.C.T.E. or Board of Technical Education. It is also expected to be proficient in English and Hindi. In addition to this, candidates must also meet the physical and medical requirements as specified by NFSC.
Age limit:
Candidates applying for the course should be between the age limit of 18 and 25 years as on 1st January 2020. Also 5 years relaxation in upper age limit is allowed to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per government norms.
Application fees:
The application fee to be paid online by the candidates is Rs. 100 for Unreserved and OBC categories and Rs. 25 for the SC/ST categories.
Examination details:
As per the notification, NFSC will conduct the 43rd All India Entrance Exam for Fire Sub Officers on 13th October 2019. The paper will have the questions from General Knowledge, General English, Science and Mathematics. Notably, the questions will be in Hindi & English except for General English.
Interestingly, the questions will be of objective type with 200 marks in total (50 marks each in General Knowledge and General English sections and 100 marks for Science and Mathematics). The exam will be conducted at centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Nagpur. The details of the examination such as the time and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates via email.
