Recruitment 2018: Ministry of Defence invites applications for 6 Messenger Posts; here is how to apply

Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2018: Applications are invited for the recruitment to the Messenger posts at Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area, Island Grounds in Chennai. The candidates have to apply before June 30, 2018, in prescribed format. Selected candidates will be  under the Pay Band of 18,000 per month. The other allowances will be application as per the government stipulated norms. There six positions of Messengers open for recruitment.

Educational Qualification: 
Candidates must hold Matriculation or equivalent qualification from any recognised board. Higher qualification will not be given any weightage. 
There will be written test to sellect the candidates. Candidates have to attach Medical fitness certificate from an authorised government hospital doctor.
Age limit:
Candidates have to be in the age bracket of 18-25 years. For age relaxation details, candidates must go through the official notification.
The appointment will be initially on temporary basis and likely to become permanent after successful completion of probationary period for two years, accodring to the official notification. The initial appointment will be at Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area, Island Grounds, Chennai, but thereafter candidates can be posted anywhere in India.

How to Apply 
Duly completed form with attested copies of relevant documents should be sent to the Presiding Officer C/O Officer Commanding Officer, Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area, Island Grounds, Chennai – 600 009.  The application form has to reach the department concern by June 30.
Candidates must read the notification carefully as incomplete or application incorrect details can lead to rejection.
