RBI Grade C Officer Result 2019: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the RBI Grade C Officer Exam 2019 result on its official website-rbi.org.in, stating that no candidate has been found eligible for selection to the post of System Administrator, Project Administrator, Network Administrator, System Administrator, Behavioural Scientist and Legal Specialist.  The notification, however, said the results for remaining posts are under process. The RBI has stated that utmost care was taken while preparing the result, and the bank reserves the right to rectify inadvertent errors, if any.

However, the bank will soon announce the result of other posts on its official website, therefore, candidates are advised to keep a tab on the website. The bank is expected to re-advertise for those posts which could not be fulfilled by this year. The RBI had advertised the notification on December 18, 2018 for recruitment to the post-RBI Grade C Officer in different departments for 61 vacancies on contract basis.

According to the notification (Advt. No. 5A/2018-19 dated December 19, 2018), the posts were set for lateral recruitment of Officers in Gr. 'C' (on Contract basis). It had clearly stated about the eligibility as: "Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the advertised posts. The Reserve Bank of India Services Board, hereinafter referred to as 'Board’ would admit applications from all the candidates applying for this post with the requisite fee/intimation charges (wherever applicable) on the basis of the information furnished in the ONLINE application and shall determine their eligibility only at the interview stage." 

The notification further stated that "appointment will be on full-time contract basis initially for a period of three years, extendable further, subject to a maximum tenure of five years. The contract will be terminable with a notice period of one month from either side."

The selected candidates were to get the consolidated remuneration of Rs 21.60 lakhs (pre-revised) per annum (without housing) subject to tax, adding "the Bank, at its discretion, reserves the right to offer higher compensation to candidates with higher academic or professional qualification/ experience."
