RBI Assistant Exam: The Preliminary exam for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Assistant has begun today. The RBI Assistant Prelims Exam will be of two days from today to tomorrow. The major objective of this two days RBI Assistant Prelims Exam is to find suitable students for the RBI Assistant Mains Exam in the next stage. A student needs to qualify in RBI Assistant Prelims Exam only as it's qualifying in nature and its marks won't be added in the final selection of the candidate.

Candidates going to take the RBI Assistant Prelims Exam needs to carry their call letter, photo id proof and a photocopy of the said identity proof to the exam center.

The RBI Assistant Preliminary exam is an objective test that has three sections - English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The English language section will have 30 questions and Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability sections will have 35 questions. Each question will carry one mark. Candidates will be given 20 minutes to solve questions in each section. One-fourth mark will be deducted from the score for every wrong answer. All appearing candidates need to pass in each online test individually to qualify in the exam.

RBI Assistant Prelim exam results will be declared on the official RBI website in February-March 2020. All those candidates, who qualify in the RBI Assistant Prelim exam will be called for RBI Assistant Main exam. The tentative date for the RBI Assistant mains exam is March 2020. Candidates who qualify in the RBI Assistant Mains Exam will be called for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) later.
