How can you apply for Ration Card?
Step 1: Go to the official website of the National Food Security Portal and then go to the website of your respective state.
Step 2: Aadhar Card, Voter Id Card, Passport can be given as ID proof to get a ration card. If you do not have any of these cards then any I-card, health card, driving license issued by the government can be given.
Step 3: Along with applying for the ration card, a fee of Rs 5 to Rs 45 will have to be paid.
Step 4: After the application is submitted, it is sent for field verification. The officer verifies the information filled in the form.
