Parts of Delhi received light rain on Wednesday afternoon, with the weather department predicting more showers at isolated places across the city later in the evening.

The department said that light rainfall and drizzle are likely to occur at ITO, Akshardham, Lodi Road, and NCR during the next two hours.

The minimum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season. The humidity level stood at 86 per cent at 8.30 am.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.

The Met office had predicted that the intensity of the rain will increase the coming days.
