Speaking on the move Manish Rathi, CEO & Co-founder, RailYatri said, “Intercity bus journey has never been looked at from experience perspective hence we decided to always deliver on four promises: Hassle-free boarding, Timeliness, Safety and Professional Drivers. To deliver on these promises, we are the first to bring in the on-boarding process set by specialists from the hospitality industry and implementation rigor is re-defining the bus travel experience. Majority of our buses are also equipped with washroom for non-stop long-distance travel."

Standing in sync with Manish Rathi's views Kapil Raizada, Co-founder at RailYatri said, “Our experience over the years in being associated with both rail and road travelers has given us an excellent understanding of the thousands of pockets in the country where the demand-supply gap for intercity travel has increased over the years. The transitioning of the train travelers to the surface travel options have been characteristically very slow and could be attributed to lack of standardization and poor last-mile customer experience during road travel. We were able to successfully bridge this gap with RailYatri SmartBus launch run between Delhi and Lucknow.”

Much of the success of the SmartBuses can be attributed to technology and product innovations including the RailYatri App, mobile ticketing, free-on-board Wi-Fi and entertainment, and real-time online streaming of live location and CCTV feed.
