Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) was set to attend a programme in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, today (Wednesday, October 2, 2024), a railway track in Sahibganj was blown up with a bomb blast.
Security agencies later started investigating the incident from all angles.
The route where the bomb blast took place is the Farakka-MGR track.
The track was damaged after the blast.
Later in the day, PM Modi attended a programme in Hazaribagh, where he inaugurated projects worth Rs 83,000 crore for the tribal community.
