Railway recruitment 2018: Applications for the recruitment of several posts of ‘Group C’ has been invited by the Railway Recruitment Cell of North Eastern Railway (NER). The process for application has already started. Interested candidates can apply for the posts on or before October 15, 2018 at the official website: ner.indianrailways.gov.in.
 
The eligibility of the sports quota of the current and previous two financial years i.e. 2016-17 and 2017-18 will be taken into account for eligibility. The sports achievements since April 01, 2016 will be taken into consideration for the recruitment by the Railway Recruitment Cell of North Eastern Railway (NER).

Railway recruitment 2018: Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for the post of having Grade Pay-1900/2000 should be 12th class passed.
Applicants for the post having Grade Pay-2400 (Technical) should be 12th class passed in Science i.e. Maths or physics or equivalent.
And the candidates applying for the posts with the pay grade of 2800  must be a graduate. 
 
Age limit: Applicants must fall under the age bracket of 18 to 25 years as on January 01, 2019. However, no relaxation of age is there.
 
Selection procedure: Candidates would be selected on the basis of their performance in trial and evaluation of sports and educational achievements.
 
Examination fee: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes should pay an online fee of Rs 250.
While the candidates belonging to General category need to submit an application fee of Rs 400. 
 
However, the application fees will be refunded to the individual who will actually appear in the test.
